A quick breakdown of an explosion made in 3ds Max and After Effects. We had to shoot a movie for a school project and we decided to blow stuff up just to make it more interesting. You can watch the whole video here

Simulating flying debris using RayFire:bts_debris

Simulating explosion and smoke using FumeFX:ss (2013-10-28 at 08.03.09)
